Congressman Pitts Announces Army Contract for BT Fuze in Lancaster

Washington—Congressman Joe Pitts (R, PA-16) today announced that the U.S. Army has chosen to modify an existing contract with BT Fuze Products in Lancaster for the production of additional 105 mm cartridges.  BT Fuze Products will perform 40 percent of the work involved in the $12,370,454 contract.

“I’m pleased to see the Army continuing its investment in the 16^th Congressional District,” Congressman Pitts said.  “This contract will help BT Fuze continue to provide good jobs for the surrounding community, all while supplying our Armed Forces with the tools they need to protect our freedom at home and abroad.”

The estimated contract completion date is April 30, 2008.
