I am a combat veteran of the Vietnam War. I flew 116 combat missions over three tours of duty in the Air Force. I know the courage it takes, and I have seen the sacrifices many have made.

America should always honor her veterans, and we should keep our commitments to our veterans as well. Many veterans need lifelong assistance because of physical or mental wounds received in war. We need to stand by our veterans as they have stood by us.
