Pryce Statement on the Passing of Jennifer Dunn

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Deborah Pryce (R-Columbus) issued the following statement:

“Jennifer Dunn was a friend, an effective, dignified legislator, and the embodiment of the virtues and ideals of the Republican Party.

“Jennifer and I both entered Congress in 1992 and we served together in House leadership. She was a pioneer, paving the way for Republican women to rise in the House hierarchy, and was a passionate and pivotal force in developing our majority’s message and policy. From her legislative priorities, to her political judgment, to her fashion sense, Jennifer had it together.

“Because of the tremendous support Jennifer earned from both her constituents and her colleagues, she could have continued to blaze new trails and ascend to even greater heights in Washington. But, never losing sight of what is important in life, Jennifer retired to spend time with family, a decision that should be admired and celebrated by all.

“She will be deeply missed by a grateful country, an adoring family, and her former colleagues.”
