Pryce Applauds Attendance of Agriculture Secretary Johanns at Farm Science Review in London

Columbus , Ohio -- Central Ohio today welcomed U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns as he participated in a Farm Bill Forum during the Farm Science Review at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London.  The forum is part of a nationwide listening tour aimed at gaining public input in preparation for a new farm bill.  Secretary Johanns received an invitation to attend this year's Farm Science Review from Congresswoman Pryce and Congressman John Boehner.  

"I am very pleased that Secretary Johanns is personally seeking input from Ohio's farmers, ranchers and rural residents during the 43rd Farm Science Review," said Pryce. "Secretary Johanns’ attendance provides Ohio's agricultural community with an excellent opportunity to share its opinions and ideas on the diverse array of programs that directly impact our state's agricultural system.

“The Farm Science Review is among the premier agricultural symposiums in the nation. Secretary Johanns will not find a more informed and astute audience anywhere, and its input and insights will be critically important in effectively evaluating American farm policy,” said Pryce.
