Answer:

There are several Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TAC) throughout the State of Wisconsin that serve as taxpayer’s one-stop resource for face-to-face tax help and solutions to tax problems.

Question: How do I contact the IRS for telephone assistance?
Answer: During tax season, live assistance is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (local time) weekdays. There is also a 24-hour recorded assistance line for your convenience.

Question: Where can I obtain tax forms and publications?
Answer: You can order by phone by calling 1-800-TAX-FORM (1-800-829-3676) or download them at the IRS web site.   top


Question: I have not received my federal tax refund. Where is my refund and what can I do to get it?
Answer: You can visit the IRS web site to check the status of your return or refund, or by calling toll-free 1-800-829-4477.
