Tax Help for  the Elderly and Low-Income Individuals
* Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) / Taxpayer Counseling for the Elderly (TCE)
  • The VITA program is a cooperative effort by the Internal Revenue Service and many individual states, including Wisconsin, to provide income tax assistance to low-income individuals, handicapped or elderly.

  • The TCE program provides free tax information and help in preparing federal and Wisconsin income tax returns for elderly, low-income and handicapped individuals.

* AARP Tax-Aide
The nation's largest, free, volunteer run tax counseling and preparation service.
* Taxpayer Counseling for the Elderly (TCE)
The TCE program provides free tax information and help in preparing federal and Wisconsin income tax returns for elderly, low-income and handicapped individuals.

* University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC)
The LITC assists eligible taxpayers with federal tax issues including IRS audits and examinations, IRS Appeals, IRS collection, Earned Income Tax Credit, Filing Status and Dependents, Failure to File Returns, Innocent Spouse Status, and Independent Contractor/Employee.
