Social Security
Currently, only three workers pay taxes to finance benefits for each retiree—compared to 16 workers for each retiree in 1950. My first priority for saving Social Security is to stop Congress from spending the trust fund on other government programs. The responsible reforms I have put forward would fulfill the mission of retirement security for future generations, and would not change the benefits of current or soon-to-be retirees.
