PAUL RYAN NAMED TO MAJORITY LEADER'S ADVISORY BOARD

WASHINGTON - First District Congressman Paul Ryan today was named to the House Majority Leader's Advisory Board, a 12-member panel established to help counsel the House Leadership on the legislative agenda for the 106th Congress. Ryan is one of only two freshmen Members of Congress to serve on the board.

"I am honored to be selected to serve on the Majority Leader's Advisory Board," said Ryan. "This is an opportunity for me play a significant role in shaping the legislative agenda that comes to the House Floor throughout the 106th Congress."

"I look forward to this responsibility and will work to make sure the needs and concerns Wisconsinites are well-represented at the Majority Leader's table. We have an historic opportunity to make some positive, needed reforms in Washington. I will be working to help accomplish this goal."
