WASHINGTON - Congressman Paul Ryan today announced plans for the First District Listening Tour. Ryan plans to visit residents in 19 First District communities during a week-long Congressional recess from Monday, February 15 through Friday, February 19.
As Congress is set to begin debate on a number of important issues, Ryan has pledged to make himself personally available to all First District residents to hear their thoughts and suggestions. The First District Listening Tour is an important step in helping to accomplish this goal.
"To be effective, I need the input of all First District residents," said Ryan. "This tour provides the perfect opportunity for me to hear firsthand the insights and suggestions of constituents throughout Southern Wisconsin. I encourage all interested residents and their families to join me at one of the many listening sessions we will have planned throughout the district."
