RYAN TO LAUNCH NEW OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Comprehensive Site Will Offer More Information, Resources to Constituents

WASHINGTON – First District Congressman Paul Ryan is launching a new, improved official website that will be up and running by 8 A.M. tomorrow (September 14.) While the site will be accessible via Ryan's original website address – http://www.house.gov/ryan – it has been completely overhauled to provide even more information, new resources for constituents, and a more eye-catching, user-friendly format.

"Increasingly, First District residents are turning to the Internet for news and information," said Ryan. "I wanted my congressional website to be as valuable a resource as possible for them. The redesigned site is something they will want to bookmark and visit often. It's a great place to learn about legislation in Congress and upcoming First District events. Those who live and work in the First District will also benefit from the expanded Constituent Services section, which offers detailed information about many of the services my office provides such as intervention with federal agencies, academy nominations, and grant services."

"The new site also improves accessibility, something that's an ongoing aim for me," added Ryan. "It features contact information for all First District offices as well as an up-to-date Mobile Office schedule. As with the old website, constituents will be able to e-mail me questions, concerns, and suggestions from the site."

The redesigned site will be accessible at http://www.house.gov/ryan . (Until then, the old website will continue to appear in that space.)
