Ryan Announces May 2002 Listening Tour Schedule

WASHINGTON -- First District Congressman Paul Ryan today announced the schedule for his May 2002 Listening Tour. Ryan will be visiting 12 communities throughout Wisconsin's First Congressional District to discuss important issues that affect all who live and work in Southern Wisconsin, answer questions, and listen to the insights of constituents.

Ryan will share information about strengthening and improving Medicare with a prescription drug benefit, protecting Social Security for current and future generations, winning the war on terrorism, and tackling gas price spikes – among other issues.

"I hope everyone who lives in the First Congressional District will try and attend one of the upcoming listening sessions," Ryan said. "In Congress, we’re making progress on many crucial issues, and I’d like to give the people I represent an update. These listening sessions provide a great chance for us to share ideas and concerns on a range of topics – from health care to retirement security to national security."
