Ryan to Hold Town Hall Meetings July 1 & 2 on Medicare, Prescription Drugs

First District Congressman Paul Ryan has announced that he will be holding town hall meetings to talk about improving Medicare with a prescription drug benefit and strengthening the program so that it will serve seniors well for years to come. At these meetings, Ryan will provide an update on legislation he is cosponsoring in the U.S. House of Representatives that adds a voluntary prescription drug benefit to Medicare and takes other steps to update and improve the program. The House is expected to vote on this legislation in the coming weeks.

"I urge everyone who has questions about Medicare or concerns about the cost of prescription drugs to come to one of these town hall meetings," Ryan said. "It will be a great chance for us to discuss this vital issue and talk about the latest action in Congress and what it means for Wisconsin seniors and health care providers."

Meeting dates, times, and locations are listed below. Questions about the town hall meeting schedule may be directed to Ryan’s Janesville Constituent Services Center at 608-752-4050 or toll-free 1-888-909-RYAN (7926).
