Ryan Announces January 2003 Listening Tour Schedule
WASHINGTON -- First District Congressman Paul Ryan today announced the schedule for his January 2003 Listening Tour. Ryan will be visiting 21 communities throughout Wisconsin's First Congressional District to listen to constituents and to discuss important issues that affect Southern Wisconsin.
Ryan will share information about the economy and what the federal government can do to help boost economic growth and job creation. He will also discuss making quality health care more affordable and strengthening Social Security and Medicare for current and future generations. In addition, combating terrorism and defending America from threats to our homeland will also be topics of the upcoming listening sessions.
"I urge everyone who lives in or near the communities where I’ll be holding these sessions to try and attend," Ryan said. "The year ahead is going to be very busy in Congress, and I’d like to get input from people about the critical issues affecting their lives. These listening sessions provide a great chance for us to share ideas and insights on a range of topics – from jobs to health care to national security."
