Invites Constituents to Sign Up for InstantNewsUPDATES
via Website
WASHINGTON
– Wisconsin’s First District Congressman Paul Ryan announced that
constituents who are interested in receiving regular e-mail updates about
legislative action in Congress and listening sessions and other events in the
First Congressional District can sign up for InstantNewsUPDATES
on his website: www.house.gov/ryan.
First
District residents who sign up for this service will receive Ryan’s advisories
about upcoming listening sessions and town hall meetings, press releases about
what is happening in Congress, and links to issue paper updates (covering a
range of issues from health care to defense) in their e-mail inboxes.
“These
e-mail updates are a great way for people to get the latest information about
key happenings in Congress and upcoming events in our area,” Ryan said.
“If people have e-mail access and want to keep up with what Congress is doing
about taxes, the budget, health care, the war on terrorism and other issues,
this is a good resource.
These updates will also help spread the word about listening sessions and
other meeting opportunities and events in the First District.”
To
sign up to receive InstantNewsUPDATES,
people can visit www.house.gov/ryan and
fill out the brief form that appears when they enter the InstantNewsUPDATES
box.
This form asks for the person’s first name, last name, e-mail address
and zip code. To
maintain constituents’ privacy, this information will not be shared with
anyone outside Congressman Ryan’s office.
