Ryan Announces Upcoming
Listening Sessions
WASHINGTON
-- First District Congressman Paul Ryan has announced the schedule for a new
round of listening sessions that he will be holding in late May and early June.
Ryan will be visiting 35 communities in Wisconsin's First Congressional
District to listen to constituents’ concerns and to discuss important issues
that affect Southern Wisconsin.
“We’ll
talk about a range of issues, from health care to jobs to Iraq,” Ryan said.
“Most importantly, I want to hear what’s on people’s minds and
answer their questions.
These listening sessions are a great chance for us to talk face to face
about the issues that concern them.
I hope people will take time to attend one of these meetings in their
area.”
Issues
to be discussed include health care costs, job creation, gasoline prices, the
new prescription drug cards now available to seniors, and the war on terrorism.
