Ryan Statement on President’s Inaugural Address

First District Congressman Paul Ryan issued the following statement following President Bush’s Inaugural Address today:

“This was a confident, idealistic speech about freedom’s power and promise for all. 
The President focused on the moral ideals of liberty and responsibility that ring true to Americans – regardless of party and other differences – and give hope to people around the world. It was an inspiring and unifying address, and I hope it will help our nation move forward in good faith together to tackle the challenges before us.”
