Congressman Christopher Shays
with President and Founder of “Courage to Speak,”
Ginger Katz, and the Courage to Speak Kayak team. The
team participated and paddled across Long Island Sound
as part of “Kayak for a Cause.” The same
day the Lightfoot Running Club sponsored the Ian James
Eaccarino 9 mile race. The Courage to Speak Foundation
encourages students, parents and communities to talk
openly and honestly about the dangers of drug abuse,
and promotes and encourages drug free living.
