InternshipsInternships are currently available in my Collinsville, Harrisburg, Springfield, and Washington, D.C. offices. Internships are available throughout the fall, spring and summer semesters, offering students the opportunity to gain invaluable experience. The hours are flexible to accommodate the schedules of students. Responsibilities of congressional interns will vary. Former interns have been asked to aid in constituent correspondence, assist current staff in various duties, perform clerical duties in the office and to prepare research reports. Interns are given an opportunity to learn about the legislative process, interact with the Congressman, and participate in all operational aspects of a congressional office. If you are interested in an internship in any of the offices, please send a resume and a cover letter to the following address: Washington, D.C. (Send via fax only) Collinsville, Illinois (Send via regular mail) Harrisburg, Illinois (Send via regular mail) Springfield, Illinois (Send via regular mail) Find more information on being an intern in Washington, D.C. |
