Rep. Snyder Announces House Approval of $3.622 Million In LRAFB Projects WASHINGTON, D.C. - United States Representative Vic Snyder (AR-02) announced today that the House passed the Military Construction Appropriations Act for FY04 Conference Report (H.R. 2559), which includes funding for projects benefiting the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville.
The House approved the appropriation of the Air Force budget, which includes $2.478 million for a C-130J operations training facility and $1.144 million for additions and alterations at hangar 280 at the LRAFB.
“Funding for this C-130J training facility and hangar improvements indicate the continuing commitment of the Air Force to make the Little Rock Air Force Base the premier C-130 training facility in the US,” said Congressman Snyder.
The bill had previously been in conference and will now go to the Senate for final passage before being signed by the President.
