Snyder Statement on Saddam Hussein's Capture "The capture of Saddam Hussein is a great achievement for our men and women in uniform, the coalition forces, and the Iraqi people," Congressman Vic Snyder said. "While our troops will continue to face danger and attacks, we now have an opportunity to repair relationships with the international community and involve them in the efforts to bring democracy, stability, and economic opportunity to Iraq. The road ahead is still long and difficult, and success is not guaranteed. But this capture is a very significant step toward achieving our goals in Iraq."
