WALTERS, BURKS-ROLLINS JOIN SNYDER'S DC STAFF WASHINGTON, D.C.-United States Representative Vic Snyder
(AR-02) announced today the recent employment of two Little Rock natives to his
Washington, DC office. Stacie Walters and Michelle Burks-Rollins join Snyder's
team of Legislative Assistants.
Stacie Walters, a recent graduate from the University of Arkansas School of
Law in Fayetteville, is a native of Little Rock and the daughter of David Walters,
Sr. of Atlanta, GA, and Roy and Martha Norman of Little Rock. She is a graduate
of J.A. Fair High School and the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Walters
has clerked for the Honorable Bobby Fussell in United States Federal Bankruptcy
Court and for the Honorable Mary Ann Gunn in the Washington County Circuit Court.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. This fall, Walters joined
Congressman Vic Snyder's Washington DC office where she is a Legislative Assistant,
managing issues in Commerce, Energy, Homeland Security, Housing, Social Security,
Space and Technology.
Michelle Burks-Rollins is a native of Little Rock, AR, and the daughter of
Jean C. Burks and the late Harry Burks. Burks-Rollins graduated from North East
High School, after which she attended the University of Central Arkansas. She
has a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL and is
a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Michelle resides in Baltimore, MD
with her husband Nolan V. Rollins, Esq. She has been Legal Counsel and a Hill
staffer for 3 years formerly with Congressman Alcee Hastings (FL-23) and Senator
Arlen Specter of PA. This winter Burks-Rollins joined Congressman Vic Snyder's
Washington office where she is a Legislative Assistant focusing on issues in Tax,
Trade, Labor and Civil Service. -30- |
