WASHINGTON, SEPT. 5, 2007 - "I share in the deep sense of loss with the death of Paul Gillmor. He was a committed and passionate advocate for the people of Ohio. Through 40 years of public service, he established a strong record of working for average Americans. I arrived in the House with Paul in the 101st Congress, and I had the privilege of working with him on the Energy & Commerce where his expertise and dedication will be missed. I express my deepest sympathies to his wife Karen and to their five children, and my prayers are with them, with the rest of his family, and with his many friends.
