WASHINGTON, OCT. 2007 - "I believe that it is vital for elected officials to meet regularly with the people they represent and answer their questions and hear their concerns," stated Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala). "Each year, I hold town meetings around the district, and at the end of this set I will have held 500 town meetings." Stearns will be holding town meetings in Belleview, Weirsdale, Lady Lake, and Leesburg on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
