WASHINGTON, JAN. 24, 2008 - "The Marion Therapeutic Riding Association (MTRA) has been serving our community since 1983 by providing individuals with disabilities the physical and psychological benefits that come from riding," said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala). "I look forward to celebrating the opening of the new MTRA facility and to thanking everyone for their support of this wonderful program." Stearns will be providing the keynote remarks at the celebration.
The Marion Therapeutic Riding Association will celebrate the opening of its new facility, which is located at 6860 S.E. 41st Court off of Maricamp Road. The event will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2008, starting at 1:00 PM. A performance of Hermann's Royal Lipizzan Stallion Show will take place on both Saturday the 26th and on Sunday the 27th.
