On June 18, 2003, the U.S. House of Representatives Law Enforcement Caucus hosted an event with the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) and Court TV.
This event provided an opportunity for members of the Caucus to discuss the important role of community policing in homeland security with four panelists from the law enforcement community. As a part of their "Keep America Safe" public service initiative, Court TV filmed and moderated the discussion and filmed one-on-one interviews with members of the Caucus.
The law enforcement panel included:
- Jim Burack, Chief of Police in Milliken, CO;
- Edward Flynn, Secretary of Public Safety, Massachusetts;
- J. Thomas, Manager Chief of the Fairfax County Police Department, VA;
- Chris Swecker, Special Agent in Charge, FBI.
