Same-Sex Marriage
WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Susan Davis released the following statement on President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage.
"The President showed great leadership today. Just as Mayor Sanders’s bold announcement in support of same-sex marriage strengthened the fabric of our San Diego community, the President’s announcement will unite our neighbors and co-workers under the umbrella of equality. The willingness to change one's position on an issue where people of good will may disagree is the sign of a true leader."
