Project description:

Construction and reconstruction of State Route 22 from Tiptonville to the site of the Northwest Tennessee Port and Industrial Park in Lake County. This project will provide access to Cates Landing, the proposed site for a slack-water port on the Mississippi River, which is ideally situated as a major manufacturing and distribution hub for our country.

The project is part of the Tennessee Department of Transportation's ongoing program to improve our transportation network across the state to facilitate the movement of goods and services and provide the best facilities to allow economic development.
