**The IRS has announced that beginning in March they will be mailing
out information packets to Social Security and Veteran beneficiaries who may
be eligible for rebate checks. Please be on the look out for this information.
High School art instructors and art students:
You are invited to participate in the 2008 Annual Congressional Art Competition: An Artistic Discovery.
This is a unique opportunity to enter your artwork to compete for the privilege of having it displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a period of one year. The top three entries will also be awarded a cash prize by the local sponsor of this competition.
The artwork will be judged Monday, April 14th at the Wichita Independent Business Association, 445 N. Waco, Wichita, KS.
Every entry must include a copy of the Student Release Form signed by both the teacher and the student. This form must be attached to the artwork to certify the originality of the piece.
