They also discussed the cap-and-tax bill that threatens to kill jobs and raise utility bills. Consumers Energy (CMS) SW Michigan predicts hefty rate increases in excess of 38 percent for families in order to comply with cap-and-tax. Fred supports an “all of the above” approach to reducing emissions, with an emphasis on renewable sources of energy like wind and solar, as well as nuclear power.
