WASHINGTON, DC - June 10, 1999 -Today, Congressman Pete Visclosky (D-IN) announced a schedule of events for Northwest Indiana for the weekend of June 11-13, 1999.

"I always look forward to these opportunities to get out and talk to people around the district," said Visclosky. "It's very important to me to keep in touch with my constituents in order to better serve them."

Friday, June 11
Gary, 7:30 p.m. - Attend David McCall Testimonial Dinner, McBride Hall, 1301 Texas Street.

Saturday, June 12
Merrillville, 1:15 p.m. - Attend Home Health Care Meeting, sponsored by Northwest Indiana Home Health Care agencies, Merrillville Municipal Complex, 7820 Broadway.

Lake Station, 7:00 p.m. - Attend Mary Westberry Benefit Fundraiser, St. Francis Church, 2447 Putnam Street.

Sunday, June 13
Chesterton, 10:15 a.m. - Attend Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast, St. Patrick Church, 640 North Calumet Road.

Munster, 2:15 p.m. - Attend and speak at Cancer Awareness and Unity Rally, Community Park on Calumet Avenue.
