WALSH CONTINUES TO DELIVER FOR NEW YORK IN LATEST APPROPRIATIONS BILLS

(Washington D.C.)- The House Committee on Appropriations this week marked up the Financial Services; Commerce, Justice, Science; and Energy and Water Appropriations bills for Federal FY 2009. Some of the measures Congressman Jim Walsh -- who is a senior member of the committee -- was able to fight for and win include $750,000 for Monroe County's regional crime lab and $627,000 for the dredging of Little Sodus Bay Harbor.   ... view more

WALSH CONTINUES TO DELIVER FOR CENTRAL NEW YORK IN LATEST APPROPRIATIONS BILLS

(Washington D.C.)- The House Committee on Appropriations this week marked up the Financial Services; Commerce, Justice, Science; and Energy and Water Appropriations bills for Federal FY 2009. Some of the measures Congressman Jim Walsh, who is a senior member of the committee, was able to fight for and win include $2.5 million for NASA's Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) in Syracuse, $2.5 million for Onondaga Lake, and $1.4 million for green technology research at Syracuse University and SUNY ESF.   ... view more
