Rangel and McCrery Mourn the Loss of Stephanie Tubbs Jones
WASHINGTON, DC – Ways and Means Chairman Charles B. Rangel joined Ranking Member Jim McCrery in the following statement expressing condolences on the passing of Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH), a senior member of the Committee:
“We deeply mourn the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She brought a sharp intellect and devoted her heart to her job as a member of this Committee and as a Representative of the people of Ohio’s 11th Congressional District. Stephanie always put the people of her district and the Nation first in her work as a legislator. She will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.”
