Any company that wants to provide web services at the House must apply to become an authorized web vendor. The Master Web Services Agreement sets out the rules for Vendors providing public web services to the offices of the House.

Master Web Services Agreement

The Master Web Services Agreement is a contract between the Vendor and the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer of the House, acting on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Master Agreement contains provisions that cover security requirements, technical rules, ownership of House data, management of vendor personnel, method of payment, and penalties for non-performance. In addition, the Master Web Services Agreement ensures Members and the House are protected through confidentiality, indemnification, and liability provisions.

All web vendors must go through the approval process and sign the Master Web Services Agreement to provide web services to the House.

Download the Master Web Services Agreement - This must be submitted after the Vendor Bid Submission Form is approved by HIR Vendor Management.
